The City of Hartford Registrars of Voters will hold a registration session for persons wishing to become registered voters for the up-coming General Election that will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, from 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
The City of Hartford wants to encourage all property owners to take the necessary precautions to protect their home, their family, their businesses and other assets during severe weather.

The Commission assists in the elimination of bigotry, discrimination and prejudice against lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgender persons in the city. Commissioners study the conditions and needs of lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender persons; hold forums or public hearings to gather or provide information; serve as an educational resource to fight bigotry, discrimination, and prejudice on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression; and serve as a clearinghouse for information and resources on issues concerning lesbians, gays, bisexuals and the transgender community.

Membership shall reflect the diversity of lesbian, gay, transgender and bisexual persons in the community, e.g. different ages and disabilities, and economic, ethnic, racial and social groups. A majority of members must be Hartford residents
In 2017, the Hartford Court of Common Council voted unanimously to utilize a free platform known as www.meetinginfo.org for Boards & Commissions to easily post their meeting agendas and meeting minutes online.
