The City of Hartford Registrars of Voters will hold a registration session for persons wishing to become registered voters for the up-coming General Election that will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, from 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
The City of Hartford wants to encourage all property owners to take the necessary precautions to protect their home, their family, their businesses and other assets during severe weather.
EARLY VOTING: OCTOBER 21 - 31, NOVEMBER 1 - 3.10 am – 6 pm; 8 am – 8 pm on October 29 and 31Your Say. Your Day. Early Voting allows you to vote in person safely and securely before Election Day. The following structures shall be equipped with a rapid entry key lock box at an accessible location near the main entrance of the structure or at such other location approved by the fire chief:
a. All buildings within the city, having an automatic alarm system, or equipped with an automatic fire suppression system except one- and two-family owner-occupied dwellings as identified in this Code;
b. Multi-family residential structures, including senior citizen housing complexes, that have restricted access through locked doors and have a common corridor for access to the living units;
c. All high rise buildings;
d. Commercial and industrial buildings.
Any building or structure having on-site 24-hour security personnel may be exempt from the requirements of this section at the discretion of the fire chief.
