The City of Hartford Registrars of Voters will hold a registration session for persons wishing to become registered voters for the up-coming General Election that will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, from 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

HARTFORD, CONN (August 3, 2022) – Today, the City of Hartford announced it will be opening cooling centers for residents this week, beginning today and ending on Friday, August 5th, due to a forecasted heat wave. The Hartford Fire Department is also handing out water to residents throughout the city.
“With temperatures reaching the high-90s, we will once again be opening our cooling centers at library branches throughout the city to help our residents stay safe and cool,” said Mayor Luke Bronin. “We encourage all of our residents to drink plenty of water, stay out of the sun, and check in on loved ones and neighbors who may be affected by the heat.”
