Earlier today, we learned that our Town and City Clerk, Noel McGregor, tragically passed away as a result of injuries sustained during a hit-and-run incident on October 22. The City of Hartford has suffered a great loss, and Noel's unwavering dedication to Hartford and its residents will carry on in the heart and soul of the Town and City Clerk's office.

January 27, 2025

Pursuant to Chapter IV, Section 5 of the City charter, the Council shall meet regularly in the second and forth Monday evenings of each month at 7PM, except this its rules may provide for only (1) regular meeting in each of the months of July and August. Said regular meetings to be held on second Monday evening of each of those two months at 7PM.

Below is a tentative calendar of key milestone dates for the City of Hartford’s Fiscal Year 2026 Budget process. This process will establish the City’s operating and capital budgets for the fiscal year that begins on July 1, 2025, and ends on June 30, 2026.

Hartford HOME Investment Partnerships Program

A nineteen (19) day public comment period will begin on Monday, March 6, 2023 and end on Friday, March 24, 2023. The City of Hartford Department of Development Services (DDS) is looking for public comment on the Draft City of Hartford HOME Investment Partnerships Program - American Rescue Plan (“HOME – ARP”) Allocation Plan.

New Britain Avenue at White Street & Chandler Street Roundabout

The project entails the removal of the existing traffic signal and construction of a modern roundabout at the intersection of New Britain Avenue at White Street and Chandler Street. A concept plan showing the roundabout configuration is shown on the following page.

My Sister's Place (MSP) seeks to rehabilitate a building that they own in the North End of Hartford, at 102 Pliny Street. Currently vacant, the property had been used for transitional housing for the homeless until that program ended in 2018.
